Will Smith completed his first ever half marathon in Cuba. He went for three weeks of extensive training to achieve the title of HALF MARATHON finisher.

He crossed 16 km in a healthy note but struggled at 17 -18 km & walked. He regained the strength & finished last 3 km at an easy pace.

Preparation in three weeks
Smith spent the three weeks leading up to the event preparing by going through challenging training and getting a checkup with a doctor. Some grueling training—
including climbing stairs underwater with dumbbells
- sprinting up in dunes.
- treadmill run.
- a crash course in learning to control his body temperature by employing ice baths and steam rooms.
He finished his first-ever half marathon. Although running 13 1/2 miles on its own is a tremendous undertaking, the 50-year-old leading man is raised the stakes by only giving himself three weeks to prepare for the event!
Will Smith’s statement
“As I talk the story out, it doesn’t seem like a good idea,“ Smith explains in the new episode. “It’s my snap reaction to say, ‘Yeah, I could run a half marathon.’ Then when I have my quiet moments…yeah, I think of all the bucket lists this is the one I’m most concerned about. Like in my deepest honesty with myself I really am not sure if I can run 13 miles.”
